Je construis avant tout mes tableaux comme une composition abstraite et formelle dans laquelle est contenue une formule représentative accidentelle. J'explore donc un fragile équilibre entre ce qui est matière sur une surface plane agissant physiquement sur l'oeil, et images pouvant être interprétées par l'humain.
J'ai un discours pictural qui pense et exprime la réalité du monde par des moyens détournés, je gravite dans un corpus cataclysmique renvoyant le spectateur à une distorsion de lieux, d'époques et d'espaces. Mon intention première est cependant incessamment infectée par la peinture elle-même et son caractère intuitif.

When I am building up a composition, my guiding concerns come from abstraction and formalism, and the figurative elements emerge accidentally. In this way, I explore the fragile balance between the raw material of paint on canvas acting physically on the eye, and the narrative quality of images interpreted by the brain.

I situate my work in a discourse that expresses an oblique version of reality: I gravitate toward cataclysmic imagery to confront viewers with a distorted vision of time and place. My main intention is always to refer back to the act of painting itself and its intuitive character.
